On September 9， Mr． Oriol Ventura， Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona， Spain， led a delegation on a visit to Shandong Jianzhu University for meetings and exchanges．
9月9日，西班牙巴塞羅那大學美術學院院長奧利奧爾·本圖拉一行到山東建筑大學訪問，并開展座談交流。
During the talks， participants leveraged the strengths of both universities and discussed potential cooperation in areas such as academic research， faculty and student exchanges， and joint design initiatives， reaching a consensus． An official from Shandong Jianzhu University stated that China and Spain maintain close educational， economic， and cultural ties， and the internationalization of higher education is an inevitable trend amid global integration． To advance China＇s national strategy of becoming a global leader in economy， education， and science and technology， it is essential to embrace world－class educational concepts and strengthen collaboration between the two institutions． Key areas of cooperation will include joint academic programs， faculty and student exchanges， and the establishment of international joint laboratories．
座談會上，與會人員結合兩校優勢學科，從學術研究、師生交流、設計共創等多個合作領域展開討論，并達成共識。山東建筑大學相關負責同志表示，中國和西班牙在教育、經濟和文化上有著密切的往來，高等教育國際化是世界全球化大勢所趨，要圍繞構建經濟強國、教育強國、科技強國的核心路徑，吸收全球優秀教育理念，加強兩校之間合作，特別是在合作辦學、教師互訪、學生短期交流和國際聯合實驗室等方面的推進。
Both sides expressed their commitment to taking this meeting as a starting point and moving quickly toward signing a Memorandum of Understanding （MoU） to promote phased cooperation in areas including mutual faculty and student visits， joint talent training， and scientific research collaboration．
雙方表示將以此次會談為起點，盡快簽署諒解備忘錄，推動兩校在師生互訪、人才聯合培養、科研合作等方面逐步開展交流合作。
After the meeting， Mr． Oriol Ventura and his delegation made a visit to the School of Art at Shandong Jianzhu University for an inspection and exchange． They held in－depth discussions with six professors from the school on research topics of mutual interest． Both sides expressed their intention to enhance communication and further advance cooperation between the two universities in the field of art and design． （Source： Jinan Licheng District Convergence Media Center）
