From August 5 to 6， Joseph Sung， Senior Vice President of Singapore＇s Nanyang Technological University （NTU）， led a delegation on a visit to Shandong University （SDU）．
8月5日至6日，新加坡南洋理工大學高級副校長沈祖堯率團訪問山東大學。
Ren Youqun， Secretary of the Party Committee of SDU， stated that over the past two decades， the two universities have jointly established pivotal platforms such as the Confucius Institute， the Joint SDU－NTU Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research， and the China－Singapore Green Technology Research Institute． These collaborations have yielded significant achievements in scientific research and talent cultivation． He expressed hope that both sides would deepen strategic cooperation further， focusing on areas like green technology and smart healthcare to advance joint talent development and collaborative research innovation． This partnership aims to continuously inject new dynamism into the education and technology sectors， driving high－quality development in China－Singapore relations．
山東大學黨委書記任友群表示，近二十年來，兩校共建孔子學院、人工智能國際聯合研究院、中新綠色科技研究院等重要平臺，在科研協作、人才培養等方面取得顯著成效。希望雙方進一步深化戰略協作，聚焦綠色科技、智慧康養等方向，推動人才聯合培養與科研創新協同，為中新關系高質量發展持續注入教育科技領域的新動能。
Joseph Sung shared NTU＇s pioneering practices in integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare and medical research． He emphasized his desire to strengthen collaborative innovation in the medical field， deepen cooperation in home－based care， smart healthcare， and clinical research， and explore the establishment of a joint medical research platform． Both institutions will jointly promote the innovative application of AI technology in healthcare and empower related industries．
沈祖堯介紹了南洋理工大學在醫學、人工智能與醫療融合等領域的探索實踐，希望進一步強化雙方在醫學領域的協同創新，在居家醫療、智慧康養及臨床研究等方面深化合作，探索共建醫學聯合科研平臺，共同推動人工智能技術在醫療健康領域的創新應用與產業賦能。
During the visit， the delegation toured＂The University over a Hundred Years －－ Exhibition on the History of Shandong University＂ in the Shandong University Museum， and the Center for Research and Experience of Traditional Chinese Culture． They also visited and held discussions at the Qilu Hospital and the Second Hospital of Shandong University． （Source： Jinan Licheng District Convergence Media Center）
